New factory in Gislaved, Sweden will be ready in september 2026.

Energy-efficient technology and renewable energy

Rosti GP AB has signed a new lease agreement with Nivika Fastigheter AB for the construction of a new production facility in Gislaved. The agreement covers a property that includes production, warehouse, and office spaces totaling just over 14,000 m², with the possibility of expansion to 19,000 m².

Aligned with Rosti’s sustainability strategy, the building and its operations will be equipped with energy-efficient technology and will exclusively use renewable energy. The building is prepared for solar panels, and investigations for an environmental building certification will take place later. Groundwork has begun, and the move-in is planned for September 2026.

“The facility in Gislaved, originally founded in 1966, has been a central part of Rosti’s operations for many years, and this expansion is an important milestone for the entire group. This agreement is confirmation of our customer-centric strategy and will strengthen our relationships while opening up new growth opportunities. We look forward to seeing the new purpose-built facility take shape,” says Magnus Hettne, Managing Director of Rosti Sweden.

“Being entrusted to build a new facility in Gislaved for a global player with a local presence underscores Nivika’s strong market position and capacity. By constructing a property with sustainable and functional premises, Rosti is given the conditions to continue developing its operations,” says Sverker Källgården, CEO of Nivika.
